Discovery is looking for a talented and passionate Marketing Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and optimization of our marketing efforts. This position will play a key role in managing day-to-day operations of the Marketing organization, including collateral and content development, vendor management support, and event planning & logistics support. The ideal candidate is organized, a strong communicator, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative marketing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing team with scheduling, vendor communications, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Create, edit, and manage content for marketing materials, social media, blogs, and newsletters.
  • Facilitate and coordinate vendor support services surrounding invoicing and timely payment in collaboration with finance.
  • Maintain accurate records of marketing expenses and assist with budget reconciliation.
  • Coordinate the creation, proofreading, and distribution of marketing materials (collateral, presentations, business cards, etc.)
  • Liaise with design and content teams to ensure all deadlines and goals are met in alignment with marketing calendar.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of trade show marketing strategies, such as booth design and promotional materials, posting website content, email marketing, social media management, signage, and advertising materials.

Requirements

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in marketing/public relations/communications or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing support role.
  • Experience with marketing & CRM tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external audience.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
