About the position

O'Hagan Meyer is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing initiatives. This position is ideal for a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and has a passion for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the planning, coordination, and execution of firm events, including webinars, seminars, conferences, sponsorship activations, and networking activities.
  • Manage event logistics and budgets, coordinate with vendors and venues, prepare event materials, track RSVPs, and ensure a seamless attendee experience.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to align event strategy with business development goals and post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, practice groups, and the marketing team to develop, edit, and manage high-quality content, including client alerts, newsletters, website copy, practice area descriptions, attorney bios, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Maintain a content calendar, ensure brand consistency and tone, and support the distribution of content across digital channels such as the firm’s website, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the firm’s services and expertise.
  • Assist with public relations efforts, including drafting press releases and coordinating media outreach.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, including brochures, pitchbooks, and presentations.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain the firm’s CRM system, ensuring accurate client and prospect data for marketing outreach.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including graphic designers, printers, and digital marketing agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Experience in event management.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools such as CRM systems, email marketing software, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of legal industry marketing trends and compliance considerations is a plus.
