About The Position

UPS US Marketing is seeking a talented and driven Marketing Data Analytics Lead to shape and execute its advanced analytics, AI, and data strategy across pricing, revenue management, market analysis, and evidence‑based decision making. This role will work across multiple channels and teams to drive scaling of advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI use cases that directly impact go‑to‑market effectiveness and financial performance. The position works across multiple channels and cross‑functional teams to deliver tangible business results, serving as a strategic bridge between business leaders, analytics teams, and data/AI platforms. The role is responsible for developing metrics across channels and markets, applying systemic analytical methods, and pioneering new analytical and AI approaches in fast‑paced, rapidly evolving consumer environments. This high‑visibility position will work with multiple levels of the organization, including senior leadership to bring scalable data and analytics to the forefront of pricing, rate setting, and offer optimization. The role may manage others within the department and supports Marketing leadership by planning and championing the execution of broad analytics initiatives that drive measurable value.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in fast‑paced, data‑driven environments.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience working in cloud computing environments such as Azure and Google Cloud.
  • Ability to translate business problems into analytical and AI‑enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrated success delivering impactful analytics or AI initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Solid understanding of analytical methodologies and their appropriate application.
  • Effective presentation and storytelling skills utilizing PowerPoint and data visualization techniques.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
  • Candidates must be currently in the same geographic location or willing to relocate independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pricing methodologies and revenue management.
  • Experience creating, implementing, or operationalizing machine learning and AI solutions.
  • Experience using PySpark, Azure Databricks, Google BigQuery, and Vertex AI.
  • Exposure to neural networks or other advanced AI methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as subject matter expert on UPS business processes, data, and analytical capabilities to define and solve complex business problems using data, advanced analytics, and AI.
  • Analyze and extract insights from large‑scale structured and unstructured data utilizing multiple platforms and tools.
  • Apply appropriate statistical, machine learning, and data transformation methods to support pricing, revenue, and market decisions.
  • Coordinate and manage analytics initiatives end‑to-end working with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive tangible results.
  • Independently create and execute analyses in a proactive manner, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Effectively communicate complex analytical and statistical concepts to broader audiences, including senior leadership and executives.
  • Serve as a strategic data and analytics partner to multiple areas of the business.
  • Mentor and provide leadership to junior team members and across the organization.
  • Shape marketing analytics data strategy, including data quality, feature reuse, and analytics‑ready datasets.
  • Influence data governance, documentation, and standards to improve trust, consistency, and adoption of analytics outputs.
  • Champion the creation and reuse of Marketing analytical assets across channels and markets.
