About the position

The Head of Marketing for Cell Therapy is a driven and ambitious marketer and partner working within the Biologics business segment. In this role he/she is responsible for leading, developing, and executing strategic initiatives that support the Cell Therapy service offering. This marketer will need to work closely with Catalent’s Cell & Gene Therapy Business team and in conjunction with other marketing and sales leaders to democratize our solutions into clear and seamless offering(s) with clear and executable go-to-market strategies directed to potential and current customers. This is a strategic role that requires applying customer VoC, Market knowledge, quantitative market modeling and the voice of the business to find the best way to position and diversify our offering.

Responsibilities

  • Define, shape and build out the Cell Therapy value proposition and go-to-market strategy.
  • Maintain close relationships with field organization (e.g. Inside Sales, Business Development and Product Development SME’s) to support revenue growth of the business.
  • Participation in the sales process, including customer visits, sales collateral & campaign development, speaking engagement, webinar preparation, trade show event preparation and management.
  • Partner with Brand & Marketing Activation and Sales Operations for the maintenance and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators to measure success and progress of programs.
  • Maintain market landscaping model, competitive and market assessments to ensure a deep understanding of the market dynamics and customers we serve.
  • Champion successful cell therapy launches from concept to stabilized commercialization ensuring the ultimate customer and financial success of new services/products launched aligns with business cases.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a B2B business.
  • Understanding marketing trends and industry best practices.
  • Able to stand up new processes and drive change within teams.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong Process management and attention to detail.
  • An entrepreneurial and innovative spirit to act quickly and think differently.
