About the position

The Franchise Development Marketing Director is a pivotal role in assisting the Retail Network Department (RND) reach its goals. Marketing, SEO/SEM, content development, website enhancements, social media, and other activities all designed to increase quality leads for the Franchise Development team.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and executes integrated marketing strategies that support the brands for franchisee recruitment.
  • Directly oversees the go-to-market activities for Franchise Development.
  • Effectively leads marketing, communications, digital marketing, and design to deliver program goals.
  • Develops and implements strategic marketing campaigns to increase franchise awareness and achieve annual RND revenue goals.
  • Leads the way as we scale and refine our marketing approach including leading the go-to-market strategy.
  • Works with VP of Retail Network Development on annual budgets to achieve desired lead flow.
  • Identifies key marketing performance metrics and develops regular reporting cadence and dashboards.
  • Development and coordination of semi-monthly candidate webinars.
  • Coordination of in-market opportunity events.
  • Management and marketing of franchisee Referral Programs.
  • Updates social media platforms with relevant Franchise Development/brand posts.
  • Reviews and updates all 3rd party franchise development/lead generation sites.
  • Conducts weekly reviews/updates of the RND Franchise websites.
  • Collaborates with outside digital agencies for SEO/PPC strategies.
  • Collaborates with outside agency on Franchise Development stories and placements.
  • Develops content and design for semi-monthly newsletters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in marketing, campaign development, brand management, and execution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong marketing project management skills with at least 7 years’ experience in planning and managing multiple complex marketing projects.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working with paid media programs and managing the creative development of assets.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills.
  • Positive and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to apply creative thinking and imagination to campaign development.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office Suite programs and Google programs/apps.
  • Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with Project Management Systems and tools such as JIRA and Trello is beneficial.
  • Email campaign creation and execution experience, including knowledge of HTML & CSS, is a plus.
  • Requires approximately 10% travel.
