About the position

At McCormick Post Acute, we provide compassionate care to seniors and their families-and we need a Marketing Director who can help us reach more people who need our services. This is not just another marketing job; it's a mission-driven leadership role where your work directly affects lives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase referrals and admissions.
  • Build relationships with hospitals, physicians, and the community to drive awareness.
  • Manage digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising efforts.
  • Enhance our reputation as a trusted, high-quality care provider.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance to optimize results.
  • Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's public relations and marketing programs and activities.
  • Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern the release of information concerning the residents, employees, and/or the facility.
  • Assist department directors in the development and use of marketing and public relations policies and procedures.
  • Review the facility's marketing and public relations policies and procedures at least annually.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and tracking of customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Ensure that public information describing the services provided in the facility is accurate and fully descriptive.
  • Organize and implement continuing internal communications.
  • Schedule and participate in departmental meetings concerning marketing and public relations programs.
  • Provide creative support for activity and social services departments.
  • Maintain an adequate liaison with families, residents, and community and civic leaders.
  • Participate in community service and civic groups.
  • Contact the news media when new programs, promotions, etc., are implemented.
  • Keep the Administrator informed of noteworthy items of general interest.
  • Establish a public relations area during emergencies.
  • Assist department directors in planning, conducting, and scheduling training classes.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth and positive emphasis.
  • Prepare a departmental operating budget for approval by the Administrator.
  • Serve on various committees of the facility as directed by the Administrator.

Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, or business development.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • A strategic thinker who understands both marketing and compassionate care.
  • Leadership experience - ability to work independently and manage a team.
  • Someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors.
  • Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Senior care or nursing home experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite products.
