About The Position

The Marketing Greeter is the first point of contact for resort guests and plays a vital role in connecting them with our marketing team. This position focuses on engaging guests, providing a warm welcome, and directing them to our resort kiosks or booths for vacation ownership opportunities, hotel stays, park experiences, and event promotions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service, hospitality, or sales support experience preferred.
  • Outgoing, people-oriented personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently approach and engage guests.
  • Must be comfortable working in high-traffic areas with diverse guest interactions.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to multitask in a dynamic resort environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25–50 pounds.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening (WD is a drug-free workplace).
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and a cordial attitude towards all guests and staff.
  • Able to handle the stress of high customer demand in a hospitality environment.
  • Must be people oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed.
  • Must be able to easily and frequently change from one activity to another.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage resort guests with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Proactively direct guests to marketing kiosks or booths to learn about vacation ownership opportunities, resort events, hotel promotions, and theme park packages.
  • Share basic resort information and answer general guest inquiries about amenities, services, dining, and attractions.
  • Build excitement and encourage guests to participate in presentations and promotions.
  • Partner with the marketing and events teams to support guest flow and drive attendance.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the resort brand.
  • Adapt quickly to changing guest volumes and marketing needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other guest service and marketing support duties as needed.
  • Greet and serve resort guests during their stay by making it easier and more enjoyable to arrive, check-in and stay at the property.
  • Ensures proper handling of guest's luggage while maintaining a professional appearance and cordial attitude towards all guests and employees.
  • Provides services to the guest personally or refers requests to the appropriate department manager.
  • May answer inquiries pertaining to the resort's amenities, services, policies, area attractions, dining, entertainment and directions.
