The Summit Area YMCA is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support our HR team with projects that enhance employee communication, engagement, and operational efficiency. This internship offers the opportunity to learn how HR supports a large nonprofit workforce while gaining practical experience with HR systems, employee communications, records management, and organizational initiatives that support our staff and strengthen our community. As a Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the YMCA’s marketing and communications efforts. You will work closely with the Marketing team to help promote programs, events, and the Y’s mission in the community. This internship is funded through the New Jersey Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program, an initiative designed to support paid internship opportunities for college students and recent graduates across New Jersey. Candidates selected for this internship may be asked to provide additional information required by the program to confirm eligibility.
