MARKETING INTERN

About the position

Custom Truck One Source is looking for a summer Marketing Intern to assist with digital and content marketing operations and event projects. As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of marketing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning and organizing marketing data.
• Verify and update information in company ERP, CRM & related systems.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure data accuracy.
• Oversee new data entry exercises in addition to enriching existing data.
• Review and proofread marketing materials, including blog posts, emails, and social media content.
• Suggest improvements in grammar, punctuation, and overall readability.
• Ensure brand consistency in written content.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' marketing strategies.
• Research and compile relevant literature, articles, and case studies.
• Summarize key findings and provide insights to the marketing team.
• Assist in handling inbound marketing requests & team correspondence.
• Assist in organizing marketing events and campaigns.
• Maintain organized files and documentation.
• Organize & maintain promotional merchandise, swag & literature.
• Work including, but not limited to, PowerPoint creation and editing, product description generation and cataloging, budgetary Purchase Order creation and/or documentation, customer appreciation accommodations and branded merchandise facilitation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Adobe Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
