About The Position

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to support the execution of Windings’ marketing strategy through hands-on involvement in content creation, digital marketing, lead generation, and campaign execution. This role partners closely with Sales, Human Resources, and Marketing to help tell Windings’ story to customers, candidates, and employee owners. We are looking for sophomores or Juniors with one or two years in an undergraduate program. Candidates must demonstrate academic strength, a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred, strong teamwork, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high energy level. Summer Internship Dates: approximately June 1 - August 28, 2026

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment, on deadline
  • Ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously and demonstrate a sense of urgency, when required.
  • Strong decision making and analytical abilities a must.
  • Strong detail orientation and listening skills to properly execute marketing resources to support the strategy.
  • Must exhibit a curious, team-oriented, and enthusiastic approach.
  • A great work ethic and willingness to do what needs to be done.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word®, Excel®, Power Point®, Outlook®
  • Proficiency with graphic programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar.
  • Become proficient with Windings CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and Syspro® software.
  • Occasional travel to our plant in New Ulm, MN

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for execution of the Company’s marketing strategy as developed and owned by the Director of Strategic Marketing.
  • Create, deliver, update/edit and optimize marketing materials in support of internal and external customers.
  • Assist in organizing and preparing Sales and Marketing data for use in AI-enabled tools, ensuring accuracy and consistency to support data-driven insights.
  • Work with different on-line tools such as LinkedIn, the Adobe Suite, Google Workspace, Constant Contacts, and WordPress to assist in lead generation
  • Assist in updating Company’s website in an effort to achieve search engine optimization (SEO) goals as well as making the Windings’ website an industry best website.
  • Ensure that internal and external messages are supportive of and consistent with the marketing strategies set by the Company’s leadership team.
  • Coordinate and deliver email and mass-mail marketing campaigns utilizing marketing automation software and CRM.
