About the position

The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in leading, executing and optimizing marketing strategies with the goal of driving new resident acquisition for Build-to-Rent (BTR) and third-party managed communities. This team member will be responsible for creating cohesive marketing strategies across invitationhomes.com, email/SMS, paid media channels such as Meta, Google and Zillow among others, as well as field marketing and physical signage strategies for BTR communities. This role involves cross-functional collaboration across multiple internal teams and as such, requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without authority.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, develop, and implement strategic marketing plans to drive new customer acquisition for Build-to-Rent and Third-Party Managed communities.
  • Execute and optimize campaigns across multiple paid and owned digital channels including Meta, Google, Zillow, Email and SMS, among others.
  • Analyze, interpret and report campaign performance and key insights to key internal partners and leadership.
  • Serve as the project manager for all BTR marketing initiatives including new community launches, campaigns and creative updates.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner and liaison to the Invitation Homes' Investment Management Group, adjusting marketing strategies to meet business objectives and staying attuned to shifting priorities.
  • Create field marketing plans for localized campaigns customized to each community, to include business outreach strategy, signage and participation in local events among other hyperlocal tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in marketing or related field
  • Proven success in creating and executing campaigns across multiple marketing channels including Google, Meta, Email and SMS as well as website/app experience.
  • Experience in developing data driven insights and leveraging data to inform marketing strategies.
  • Track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Skilled in program management and supporting operational improvements.
