About the position

The Marketing Manager will lead Georgia Tech’s digital marketing strategy for assigned revenue and engagement initiatives including, but not limited to, season ticket renewals/new sales, individual game ticket sales, suites, parking, hospitality, retail, corporate partnerships, and 50/50 raffle sales. This role involves building customer segments, customer journeys, A/B testing, and advertising campaigns in Oracle Eloqua to drive new season/individual game ticket revenue, retail sales, and annual fund donations. The Marketing Manager will oversee email marketing strategies and execution, coordinate with the social media team, and manage digital communications. This position is part of a partnership between Legends and Georgia Tech, focusing on enhancing the athletic experience through innovative marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Georgia Tech’s digital marketing strategy for assigned revenue and engagement initiatives.
  • Build customer segments, customer journeys, A/B testing, and advertising campaigns in Oracle Eloqua.
  • Oversee email marketing strategies and execution.
  • Coordinate with the social media team on executing social campaigns.
  • Assist with developing landing pages, tracking tags, and advertisements for Georgia Tech and eVenue websites.
  • Coordinate paid advertising campaigns for ticket, events, and retail initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to initiate and develop content for all digital marketing channels.
  • Assist in copywriting, editing, and proofreading copy for email and website.
  • Assist with managing digital surveys, website form submissions, and customer communication subscriptions.
  • Develop website landing pages for ticketing initiatives.
  • Assist with developing creative and strategic marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with analyzing the performance of digital marketing channels.
  • Oversee execution of digital communications including email and social media.
  • Monitor and analyze all traffic on digital marketing channels during events.

Requirements

  • One-to-two years of digital marketing and/or email marketing experience; agency or sports industry experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of web analytics and reporting tools (Such as Google Analytics and Google Data Studio).
  • Working knowledge of HTML coding; CSS is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Content Management Systems, Oracle Eloqua, or a similar email marketing platform.
  • Understanding of email marketing strategy and best practices.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong ability to think strategically, creatively, and quickly.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
