About the position

Our New Seller Recruitment team is looking for a talented Marketing Manager to own merchandising and marketing strategies to drive discoverability and growth to third-party brands on Amazon. This role will own developing content featuring products from third-party brands and publishing campaigns to drive traffic. Responsibilities will include owning merchandising strategies that will focus on manual and automated campaign strategy, testing, execution, analyzing and reporting results, and creating best practices to be used by partner business team programs. An ideal candidate is someone who will be obsessed with showing our customers the right products at the right time and creating visual stories that are compelling to a customer’s lifestyle. They will also have a passion for testing to invent and scale a successful program -- from creating the testing plan to communicating the results to using the data to inform future business decisions -- and will be highly organized, enjoy diving deep into campaign performance, and have the creativity to challenge our status quo. This role will also work closely with our product teams to drive improvements in our merchandising systems, which are unique to our third-party seller business on Amazon.

Responsibilities

  • Understand onsite marketing and retail merchandising and create A/B testing plans to optimize for customer engagement with third-party sellers.
  • Collaborate with category marketing and other cross-org marketing teams to develop and implement scalable merchandising strategies for third-party brands.
  • Develop and maintain marketing editorial campaign calendars, tracking live, upcoming, and completed merchandising initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute merchandising to drive customer traffic to new and established third-party brands.
  • Analyze results of testing, communicate learnings upward and internationally, and use the data to drive future tests.
  • Document results and share best-practices with our worldwide business partners.
  • Own and optimize multiple team KPIs for customer engagement and traffic, developing strategy to drive results over short and long-term.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
