About the position

Connect-A-Dock, a leading manufacturer of modular floating dock systems and accessories, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team on a 12-18 month contract to cover a maternity leave, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity. This full-time role is ideal for a driven and adaptable marketer who can maintain strong existing strategies while also bringing fresh ideas to help evolve the brand.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the annual marketing plan and budget for Connect-A-Dock.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of brand marketing initiatives, promotions, and sales enablement programs.
  • Manage all marketing projects from brief through implementation, including approvals, timelines, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaborate with Sales on pricing strategy and B2B customer incentives.
  • Lead strategy and execution for digital lead generation and ecommerce advertising campaigns.
  • Host webinars and plan the annual in-person distributor meeting.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with rowing clubs, events, and other sponsored organizations.
  • Collect and analyze customer, market, and competitive data to inform marketing and go-to-market strategy.
  • Lead trade show and event strategy, including budget, planning, and on-site support.
  • Own the product development strategy for Connect-A-Dock, leading cross-functional collaboration to manage product line updates and identify new product opportunities.
  • Manage customer requests for marketing support, including consultation and development of branded assets.
  • Own the execution of B2B and B2C email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact.
  • Oversee website content strategy, copywriting, and optimization efforts via WordPress.
  • Own social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement across platforms.
  • Track and analyze website traffic, form submissions, and consumer behavior to guide optimization plans.
  • Coordinate the execution of digital ad campaigns in partnership with third-party agencies.
  • Maintain and update all branded materials, literature, and media libraries.
  • Coordinate the creation and logistics of trade show displays, shipping, and internal communications.
  • Support marketing efforts for Big Box ecommerce listings in collaboration with retail partners.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in a B2B2C or dealer/distributor model.
  • Experience in the marine or outdoor product industry is a strong asset.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on work across multiple channels.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, creative, and agency partners.
  • Proficient in WordPress, Constant Contact, and Meta advertising platforms.
  • Familiarity with trade shows, ecommerce marketing, and CRM/lead generation practices.
  • Ability to travel for trade shows, customer meetings, and/or internal team events.
