APub is seeking a data-driven leader who is innovative, creative, and passionate about books to oversee critical marketing functions. The ideal candidate is an excellent internal and external relationship builder who is also able to:

<ul><li>Tie the details back to the big picture; ability to think strategically but stay on top of tactical execution.</li><li>Influence cross-functional roadmaps, letting nothing stand in the way of clarity and prioritization.</li><li>Reflect superior verbal and written communications skills across all levels of the organization. Also able to listen and continually learn.</li><li>Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where continuous innovation is desired.</li></ul>Specific responsibilities include:

<ul><li>Leading a high-performing team.</li><li>Overseeing product positioning, messaging, and audience identification for Amazon Publishing books.</li><li>Designing/overseeing marketing strategies for our marquee books and coordinating marketing plans for top authors worldwide.</li><li>Partnering with Kindle teams to promote new programs and reading experiences.</li><li>Proactively identifying new marketing levers to test and author pain points to remove.</li><li>Inventing and overseeing analysis and reporting to surface the data behind campaign success, and interpret data relationships between engagement-driving marketing and downstream sales. Reporting on findings team-wide and to senior leadership.</li><li>Creating and managing marketing activities that build author reputations and foster long-term writing careers.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Bachelorâs degree.</li><li>People management experience.</li><li>7+ yearsâ experience in digital marketing or publishing.</li><li>Experience in B2C marketing.</li></ul>
