The Office of Marketing and Communications seeks applications for a motivated, forward-thinking Marketing Project Manager. Potential candidates should possess a positive attitude, demonstrated ability to function within a collaborative team, and a passion for seeing marketing projects through from starting strategy to execution and production to wrap-up and measurement. The Office of Marketing and Communications strives to maintain a marketing function that leads the industry by leveraging the Xavier brand for image, enrollment, and fundraising initiatives. This person will review all outbound work from our office to ensure the highest level of brand quality and consistency.

The Ideal Candidate

* First and foremost, just like most of our Xavier graduates, were looking for someone with strong critical thinking skills. Were looking for someone who can share with us a marketing problem that they were faced with, how they understood the end state, and how they helped build a strategy, produce tactics on the strategy, and measure the results
* A bachelors degree in relevant field, such as marketing, communications, business or similarly related academic background
* 3 or more years of professional experience in marketing, brand management, advertising, technology, or other experiences along with managing projects in a team environment
* Goal and process oriented and focused on moving projects forward
* Understanding of higher education and the college experience
* Understanding of brand building
* Ability to make a team work. We have a talented team of designers, developers, writers, communicators and more. Were seeking that unique individual who can craft a plan so that everyone can contribute to the goal in a seamless and efficient way
* Experience working effectively across departments with individuals at multiple levels to collaborate on goals and achieve organizational targets

* Able to quickly build strong working relationships within a university environment
* Ability to work as a leader and team player
* Ability to create alignment across cross functional departments to develop and support strategic decisions
* Ability to create and clearly deliver complex information, issues and recommendations in both written and oral presentation, adapting to different management, communication, and delivery styles when needed
