The Marketing Manager is responsible for reputation management as well as strategic development and implementation of all communication, marketing, consumer engagement and community activities of the medical center.
* Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communication required
* 5 years of healthcare related experience preferred
* Knowledge of marketing and communication principles including an understanding of traditional and digital marketing. Extensive experience in content marketing preferred.
* Requires a strong knowledge of social media marketing with work experience with Facebook and Twitter.
* Excellent verbal and written skills with demonstrated knowledge of the Associated Press (AP), stylebook and libel manual.
* Requires thorough knowledge of both HIPAA guidelines for release of patient condition information and the crisis communications component of the HEICS plan.
* Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Video sharing sites.
* Requires willingness and ability to work extensive hours on an as needed basis.
* Knowledge of city, county, and federal elected officials and/or representatives and the legislative process
