As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation/deployment of internal and external campaigns for the geographic market segments of the Carolinas and Energy within the Southeast Region. This position supports strategy; management and success of the areas go-to-market focus on coordinating marketing and strategic communications activities.
Essential Functions of the job:
* Project manages large portfolio of marketing events and client networks for C-suite audience, across all four service lines (Tax, Assurance, TAS, and Advisory)
* Own marketing events and networks from start to finish working with Meeting & Event Services, Production team and other BMC members.
* Develops and executes integrated marketing and communications campaigns leveraging national programs and content and local events and branding opportunities
* Partners with national marketing teams from Advisory, Tax and TAS service lines to understand campaign pipeline and determines relevance in local region.
* Works as a marketing consultant to the market segment leaders helping to shape strategy and drive execution.
* Understanding market segment needs and partners with BMC team members, Business Development and Market Leadership to target, customize and deploy national service line relationship building and thought leadership campaigns (internally and externally).
* Executes national campaigns (internally and externally) within the region using internal communications channels, CRM and eDistribution tools.
* Responsible for tracking return on investment for marketing campaigns and initiatives. Provides regular reports and updates to leadership.
* Manages budget for marketing initiatives.
* Coordinates with other BMC team members for campaign elements such as PR and Internal Communications.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities
* What this role needs to accomplish is varied and this role will require judgment and insight.
* This role has some latitude in decision making provided their activities are consistent with approved plans, objectives, functional priorities and precedents. And are within the stated guidelines and policies. The management given this role establishes the results expected but when and how may vary.
* Demonstrate understanding of marketing and communications campaign principles and communications strategies at large complex organizations.
* Act as project manager for multiple campaigns under limited guidance of supervisor
* Ability to analyze data, understand the business context and provide strategic guidance to internal clients.
Knowledge & Skill Requirement
* Duties are varied and complex.
* Able to partner with senior leaders, influence and be a strategic advisor.
* Experience with relational databases, CRM Systems and e-campaign management is desired.
* Strong project management, team building and interpersonal communications skills.
* Strong detail orientation and ability to produce quality results in competing priorities.
* Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel Powerpoint, Internet and Corporate email systems (Microsoft Outlook).
* Proven event management skills and ability to handle large portfolio of technical content driven events.
* Ability to manage multiple campaigns and events simultaneously and produce results.
* Ability to manage competing priorities consistently and seek guidance when prioritization is unclear.
Supervision Responsibilities
* This role receives limited supervision must be able to work independently within their area. Review of work generally happens at longer intervals.
Other Requirements
* Experience in large matrix organization, agency or global firm a plus
* Creative thinker with solid marketing and communications experience
Travel Requirements
* Limited to moderate travel
Experience
* A minimum of 5-8 years of work experience, with some marketing experience
Education
* A Bachelor's degree, with a Marketing or Communications major preferred
