Nelson Mullins , an AmLaw 60 law firm, is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join our team and serve as the operational leader of the Marketing Department. In this role, you will align marketing strategy, people, processes, and technology to drive performance, efficiency, and exceptional internal client service across the firm. You will oversee marketing project management, departmental workflow integration, and the strategic implementation of AI-enabled systems, ensuring that core marketing functions operate in alignment with firm priorities, service standards, and evolving business needs. This position offers the opportunity to lead and support a broad range of operational and strategic initiatives across the Marketing Department. The Marketing Operations Manager oversees departmental operations to ensure alignment and integration across all marketing functions, including digital marketing, communications, marketing technology, client relations, business development, events, and proposals. In this role, the individual leads and develops a high‑performing team, manages and coordinates cross‑functional marketing projects, and monitors project health by tracking budgets, timelines, and key performance indicators, implementing corrective actions as needed. The role is central to driving continuous improvement efforts that increase efficiency, reduce redundancy, and enhance the internal client (attorney) experience. Additionally, the Marketing Operations Manager establishes and maintains governance frameworks for project intake, prioritization, support guidelines, and workflows, while developing standardized quarterly reports and dashboards to measure performance and ensure alignment with firm priorities and service standards. Whether working independently or in a collaborative environment, you bring a structured, detail‑oriented, and deadline‑driven approach to your work. You communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and understand the importance of strong written and verbal communication in supporting a fast‑paced professional services environment. You are comfortable managing multiple initiatives with shifting priorities and leverage technology, including advanced AI tools, to improve workflows, decision‑making, and operational efficiency.
