About The Position

At SanMar, the work you do makes a difference. What's the Short Version? The Marketing Operations Intern, Photo Studio is responsible for supporting the studio team during an 8-week program in several areas on the Marketing Operations Team: Studio Operations, Shoot Production, Activation team, Imaging and Sample Management. We provide extensive training, guidance, and support as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience. This internship is fully on-site at our studio located in Seattle, WA. What Will You Be Doing? Assist with lighting, set building and photo ingestion, naming, organization, etc. Assist photo crews for a variety of shoots by facilitating errands, prop shopping, steaming and catering support. Assist with merchandise coordination; receive, label, pack/unpack merchandise to and from our studio. Photograph apparel library and log into Creative Force. Conduct a variety of general administrative tasks for the department or departments as assigned. Job shadow various members of the department and assist them as needed. Assist with data ingestion and cleanup. Studio facility maintenance and assistance in workshop including set builds, equipment maintenance and painting. Provide support for Activation/Tradeshow production including prepping booth properties/samples, portable booth kits, inventory, and reordering. Create content and how-to videos/imagery to support training team. Participate in intern cohort activities including: professional development workshops, warehouse tours, and meetings with leadership. May perform or support special projects. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Photography, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
  • Administrative skills which must include excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Responsive to staff needs, including professionalism, respect and consideration of others

Benefits

  • Pay: You`ll earn $21.39 on an hourly basis.
  • Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a weekly basis based on hours worked.
