Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Program Manager for Commercial will be responsible for the development and execution of PODS Commercial strategy and plan for various vertical markets and associated programs. The role will need to bring understanding of commercial business and marketing fundamentals to identify consumer insights, develop appropriate objectives, and establish achievable goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage Commercial Program accounts nationally/regionally to build relationships, drive higher penetration and increase YOY revenues.
* Serve as interface with customers, vendors, stakeholders and program sponsor(s).
* Conduct strategic planning sessions with key customers to discuss goals and support needs.
* Constantly monitor competitive landscape, and spearhead solutions to maintain PODS preferred position in the marketplace.
* Educate, Train, and manage expectations for revenue growth with Outside Sales and Call Center Sales.
* Identify key marketing/brand opportunities within customer accounts including onsite activations, campaigns, social medial, etc. and develop marketing strategy to capitalize on the opportunities.
* Assure the PODS brand is properly represented and is abiding by brand requirements
* Successfully execute marketing programs to support national/regional commercial customers from creation of signage and content, to onsite activations and more
* Provide support for sales team at sales meetings, onsite marketing events/meetings, tradeshows/conferences, etc.
* Work with Product Management team to identify and implement new ancillary products, container products, etc., and develop marketing programs to support.
* Project manage additional items needing to be created to support this side of the business including marketing materials, sales tools, media buys, and content development.
* Conduct program financial analysis in addition to monitoring program KPI's.
* Manage Commercial Program marketing spend and budget
* Conduct in person high level customer meetings and customer follow-ups
* May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
* Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in marketing or business administration and three years of B2B marketing and/or customer experience management; MBA desired but not required
* 5 - 8 years of Marketing management experience
* Organized and able to manage and prioritize responsibilities
* Experience with brand management and creating strategic marketing strategy
* Required to travel as needed 20-30% of time
* Experience with premium brand forward company/product
* Experience with in person high level customer meetings
* Ability to take a vision and turn it into a tangible sales or marketing tool
* Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
