About the position

As a On-Site Package Sales Agent you would be directly responsible for the promotion of selling vacation packages to eligible on-site guests' post-sales presentation. This person responds to guest requests in a timely manner and represents HGV in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provides information and incentives for guests to come back to a HGV property.
  • Pro-actively pursues eligible guests on-site to preview HGV through direct purchase of a mini-vacation package.
  • Ensures guests meet minimum eligibility for package offers by specific location.
  • Completes required paperwork and data-entry accurately and completely for each package sale.
  • Provides location-related guest service to resort guests and visitors, including directing guests to responsible resort services for specific resort information.
  • Distributes only HGV authorized and unaltered information, collateral and materials. Maintains location-operating standards.
  • Notifies manager of any shortages in collateral in a timely manner.
  • Reviews production reports and notifies manager of any challenges.
  • Assists management with training of new hires on location.
  • Arrives and leaves location at scheduled times and follows appropriate timekeeping and PTO guidelines.
  • Self-motivated and possesses necessary sales skills to meet monthly package sales target.
  • Follows gifting procedures to ensure costs are met monthly.
  • Contacts management with any guest issues.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to provide world-class customer service.
  • Confident in building value and setting/achieving sales goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekend, and holidays.
  • Basic computer and iPad knowledge (Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer etc.).

  • Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least one year hospitality and/or customer service experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year Marketing experience in Vacation Ownership Industry.
