The Junior Editor, Marketing Services is responsible for conforming scans, HD tape and visual effects using client provided EDLs or eye match and perform any time warps, split screens, motion effects, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Check each edit to ensure accuracy against client provided reference and flag any problems to the Internal Producer.
- Working directly with the Marketing Services producer and clients perform first passes on fixes such as MPAA fixes, dirt removal, minor hair removal, drop ins, repositioning of image, etc.
- Create deliverables including any reformatting to meet any specific client specifications
- Organize completed projects and perform archives for senior editorial staff
- Work with senior editorial staff to develop and expand skill sets
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on non-linear editing platforms
- Beginner to Intermediate proficiency in Smoke
- Exposure to Theatrical Marketing workflows including Trailer and TV spot finishing
- Must know file formats and demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Must have the ability to work on own and to be a self-starter
