About the position

The position at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood involves leading all social media marketing efforts under the direction of the Director of Marketing. This includes research, strategy, and implementation of digital media, social media, and paid online advertising. The role is crucial in developing and executing social media strategies, maintaining engagement across platforms, and optimizing marketing campaigns based on performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic efforts for the planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, editorial calendars, and tactical plans.
  • Responsible for maintenance, engagement and growth strategy of all social media platforms.
  • Develop strategy and implement marketing campaigns across online OTA sites and other third party review sites.
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing activities against goals, identify trends and insights, and optimize plans based on these insights.
  • Develop strategy for executing paid campaigns that drive click through, revenue, trial and visitation.
  • Develop innovative ideas for social media photography and video.
  • Strategize and grow relationships with key influencers in the digital space.
  • Lead community engagement and involvement efforts.
  • Stay abreast of trends, technologies and advancements in social media.
  • Oversee production and implementation of social campaigns.
  • Develop Hard Rock blog strategy and ensure content drives engagement and search optimization.
  • Maintain monthly budget for all resort social support.
  • Lead local music playlists and other Vibe initiatives.
  • Evaluate and adjust overall guest experiences based on interactions and trends.
  • Partner with advertising team to ensure alignment between digital and traditional media.
  • Work closely with Internet Marketing to integrate social media into online brand campaigns.
  • Support Hard Rock International initiatives through social campaigns.
  • Serve as the liaison between various departments regarding mobile and social media efforts.
  • Train leadership on mobile and social media techniques.
  • Support other key marketing efforts as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hotel management, hospitality, marketing, or business administration.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years direct marketing, advertising and brand marketing experience.
  • At least 2 years of social media/web 2.0 experience as an online marketer.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile, emerging and social media.
  • Experience in leveraging social media platforms for advertising campaigns.
  • Strong written skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines.
  • Experience preferred in brand management and implementation.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
