About The Position

As a Marketing Specialist on the Global and Strategic Accounts Marketing Team, you will play a key role in developing high‑impact marketing materials, programs, and strategic communication tools that support Global and Strategic Accounts. Building on a strong foundation of experience, this position requires a high-level of autonomy, deep strategic thinking, and increased ownership of complex, multi‑layered projects. In this role, you will independently manage a wide range of marketing requests, guide content strategy, and help shape the direction of projects to ensure all deliverables reflect the distinct identity of each commercial brand. You will collaborate closely with Marketing Managers and cross‑functional partners across Patcraft, Shaw Contract, Philadelphia Commercial, Sustainability, CDS, SIS, and other Commercial Division teams to advance strategic account priorities and strengthen annuity relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field with 1-3 years of experience in marketing required OR 4-6 years equivalent experience
  • Ability to work onsite in Cartersville minimum of 3 days/week required
  • Flexible and willing to work outside standard business hours to support international partners
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint required)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Project & Workflow Leadership Independently manage complex requests by developing well-structured project plans, clarifying scope, setting timelines, and proactively identifying resource needs.
  • Utilize project management software to track each project, clarify scope, set timelines, and proactively identify resource needs.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with increasing autonomy—prioritizing, tracking hours, overseeing workflows, and ensuring all contributors deliver aligned, high-quality outputs.
  • Provide strategic directions to Coordinators by reviewing their project contributions, offering coaching, and verifying that upstream work meets brand standards and project goals.
  • Content Strategy & Development Own the development of marketing content—research, writing, and outlining to shape messaging for strategic accounts
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers to ensure all content reaches the correct audience, supports broader business strategies, brand positioning, and customer specific objectives.
  • Lead discussions with graphic designers to communicate goals and design with the intent of the deliverable.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration Partner directly with RFP and Contracts teams when marketing components align for major proposals, and work with the Contracts team when compliance with contract requirements and approved product pricing is requested.
  • Coordinate with Commercial Division partners—Patcraft and Shaw Contract Segment Directors, Enterprise Sustainability team, CDS (Custom Design Studio), SIS (Shaw Integrated Solutions), and other Commercial Division partners—to ensure that marketing initiatives are accurate, compelling, and strategically aligned across all stakeholders.
  • Strategic Data Translation & Business Reviews Own the preparation of complex KPI Business Reviews by interpreting Excel data and pivot tables, and transforming insights into visually compelling, polished PowerPoint presentations.
  • Influence decision-making by suggesting alternative options and seeking creative solutions for the best way to present large data sets and products purchased, so it is beneficial to end-user marketing.
  • Advanced Project Guidance & Creative Direction Develop comprehensive creative briefs with complete project instructions, visual asset needs, product references, and technical details to guide design teams efficiently.
  • Shape the creative direction for multistage deliverables, campaigns, or recurring product standards, ensuring assets maintain brand integrity and support strategic objectives.
  • Mentorship & Team Influence Provide guidance and coaching to the Marketing Coordinator(s)—reviewing and proofreading work, helping prioritize tasks, and contributing to skill development as part of the team’s talent progression.
  • Support Marketing Managers in long-term planning by identifying gaps with our team and individual development, proposing new asset needs, and helping to evolve the team’s marketing skillset.
