MARKETING SPECIALIST

Responsibilities

• Create and manage content for state websites, social media platforms, newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Assist in the development and execution of social media campaigns to promote state programs and initiatives.
• Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide support for public relations efforts, including media outreach and press release distribution.
• Assist with the creation of advertisements, brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Ensure all marketing materials adhere to state guidelines and branding standards.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
• Knowledge of marketing principles, social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing practices.
• Understanding of public relations and advertising basics.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms, marketing software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to create compelling content and adapt messaging for different audiences.
• Ability to work efficiently and contribute to team goals.
