Job Summary
This position provides strategic marketing services to the UWM Student Union, the UWM Division of Student Affairs and UWM Student Organization leadership through planning, implementation, and assessment of best practices in both the marketing and higher education industries. This position also contributes leadership to a dynamic, learning organization committed to the professional development of all members of our community. This position will also oversee the Associate Marketing Specialist as well as six student employees.
Minimum Qualifications
The qualified applicant will possess:
* Bachelorâs degree or higher in Marketing or Mass Communications or a related field
* 4 or more years experience in Marketing or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
The well-qualified applicant will possess:
* Masterâs degree or higher in Marketing, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field
* 6 or more years experience in Marketing or a related field
* 2 or more years supervisory experience
* 1 or more years experience in a student life/student support related field
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
