About the position

Rebuilding Together Greater Florida (RTGFL) is a nonprofit organization committed to repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives. We bring volunteers and partners together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners, especially seniors, veterans, and families in need. We are seeking a creative and driven Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Assist with digital marketing campaigns, track performance metrics, and maintain the marketing calendar
  • Write engaging content for social media, blogs, email newsletters, and other promotional materials
  • Design visuals for web, email, social media, and print using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Update and manage website content in WordPress, including landing pages, images, and blog posts
  • Support brand consistency by sourcing promotional materials and ensuring alignment with branding guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Two to five years of experience in a marketing or communications role
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience managing website content using WordPress
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or Social Pilot
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact
  • Photography or video editing experience
  • Experience working with nonprofit organizations
