Medical Indicators (MII), is the largest manufacturer in the world of single-use and reusable clinical thermometers used for infection control. MIIs products, sold under the brand names of TempaDOT", NexTemp®" and TraxIt®" are used to take accurate human body temperature readings. MIIs products are used globally by medical professionals, and supplied to the market through all major medical distributors. The majority of the end users are acute care hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, and national health systems. MIIs thermometer technology is non-hazardous, non-toxic, latex-free, and carries an FDA medical device registration and an ISO 13485:2003 certification. MIIs facility is located in Hamilton, NJ. MIIs products are manufactured in the United States, with US-made materials.
Responsibilities:
· Assist the sales and marketing department with the implementation of marketing initiatives, including: direct mail programs, email promotions, trade show promotions, direct-to-consumer packaging, and developing and modernizing marketing materials
· Write / capture content updating Medical Indicators social media, e-newsletter, and website
· Source new sales opportunities through outbound e-marketing
· Aid sales by creating educational and sales webinars
· Convey important product information and proper use instructions electronically to customers and prospects
· Assist sales staff with electronic presentation preparation and placing regulatory paperwork and distributor communications online
· Lead team in production of new marketing videos
· Prepare marketing materials for inclusion in e-catalogs
· Additional Duties and special projects as required
Qualifications / Requirements:
· 4-year degree preferred; community college and / or work experience in a similar role will be considered in lieu of formal education
· Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and other commonly used web presentation tools)
· Strong internet knowledge and willingness to stay on top of, learn, and execute new, disruptive technologies
· Very detail oriented team player with effective organization, communication and execution skills
· Able to work independently without supervision and as part of a team
· Demonstrated ability to create a positive environment
· Experience with the development and implementation of social media and public relations strategies, including web design is a must
· Familiarity with CMS websites (WordPress and Joomia), graphic and smart design, digital video, flash animation, motion graphics, and optimizing images for the web is a must
