About the position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Marketing Technology Director to drive a vision for the MarTech stack, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation. This role will implement a technology roadmap that aligns with business goals and fosters collaboration between marketing, IT, and other departments for seamless technology integration. The position is part of an expanding marketing team that is building a dynamic, in-house Creative Studio and innovative Demand Center to transform customer connections. This is an opportunity to shape a creative vision with real impact in a legacy brand known for exceptional service and local leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders across marketing, IT, compliance, and UX to support business objectives.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive marketing technology stack that aligns with business goals.
  • Ensure the marketing organization is effective in driving new customer growth and retention through best-in-class technology-driven solutions.
  • Support the team in overcoming challenges and executing MarTech initiatives successfully.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for technology adoption and upgrades.
  • Develop and oversee data collection, storage, and analysis strategies to ensure data integrity and usability.
  • Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive marketing data.

Requirements

  • A master's or bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, or a similar field with a focus on banking and/or retail bank products.
  • Leadership experience; leading and managing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of integrated marketing across digital, print, experiential, and emerging channels.
  • Experience balancing innovative approaches with the conservative expectations and regulations of financial services.
  • Proficiency in managing marketing technology platforms such as CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
  • Expertise in Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce and integrating various other marketing technologies to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present data findings effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in digital marketing, data analytics, or marketing technology can be beneficial.
