We are seeking a MarTech Architect with strong Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) experience to lead customer data and MarTech architecture. This role will design, govern, and evolve enterprise-scale customer data flows, enable real-time personalization, and integrate CDP with the broader MarTech ecosystem (CRM, Analytics, and Marketing Channels). The MarTech Architect will also define platform standards, governance, monitoring, and long-term strategies to ensure data quality, identity stability, security, and AI/ML readiness across the customer profile ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in CDP, MarTech, or Data Architecture roles
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) in enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in XDM data modeling, event and attribute design, and schema governance
  • Experience with identity resolution, identity rules, and customer profile stitching strategies
  • Experience working with Real-Time Customer Profile, segmentation, and audience activation
  • Strong experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) for journey design and orchestration
  • Experience with batch and streaming data ingestion patterns within AEP
  • Solid understanding of enterprise MarTech architecture and system integrations
  • Experience integrating CDP with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and marketing activation tools
  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, consent management, and compliance requirements
  • Experience defining or supporting monitoring, observability, or data quality practices
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and marketing stakeholders
  • Deep Adobe CDP and MarTech expertise (not generic data engineering)
  • Comfortable owning platform standards, governance, and best practices
  • Able to translate business use cases into scalable CDP and journey designs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
  • Adobe AEP / AJO certifications
  • Experience with data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR / CCPA)
  • Exposure to CI/CD, automation, or DevOps for MarTech platforms
  • Retail, eCommerce, or large-enterprise MarTech experience

Responsibilities

  • Architect and own Adobe AEP–based CDP implementation across Dev, Stage, and Prod
  • Design and maintain XDM schemas, identity namespaces, identity rules, and profile stitching strategies
  • Define and enforce CDP data governance standards, including event and attribute taxonomy
  • Enable real-time customer profiles, segmentation, and audience activation
  • Design and govern Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) journeys (event-based and audience-based)
  • Integrate CDP with the MarTech stack including CRM, analytics, email, SMS, paid media, web, and mobile platforms
  • Define monitoring, observability, and alerting standards for AEP pipelines, identity stitching, segmentation, and activation flows
  • Establish platform guardrails, environment strategy, and best practices for deployment, versioning, and security changes
  • Define the long-term strategy to fix and prevent identity issues across the customer profile ecosystem
  • Define and maintain security models, access control, and compliance configurations within AEP
  • Support AI/ML readiness initiatives including predictive segmentation, enriched attributes, and decisioning integration
  • Influence the multi-year CDP and MarTech roadmap, evaluate vendor capabilities, and guide platform evolution
  • Ensure data quality, governance, privacy, and consent management
  • Partner with marketing, analytics, engineering, security, and vendors on MarTech enablement
