The Master Data Analyst is responsible for monitoring and examining key data within the organization. This will include maintenance of level-1 finished goods BOMs (Bills of Material), expanding our Operations data integrity analysis and associated updates, backing up the Data Integrity lead team members, and finally to assist the business in the improvement of our new business development (NBD) processes. ERP System Master Data setup: Develop and maintain accurate SYS21 master data files in conjunction with the needs of Operations, Finance, and Compliance. This includes SYS21 Item Master setup, Location setup, Production/Planning initial setup, and initial vendor costing setup in SYS21 (1, 2, 3, 4, and 21/MDMUS, as well as 62/MDC2US). Manage internal customer relationships so that timely and accurate completion of item setup can be accomplished. Deliver accurate and timely reporting or analysis to internal customers. Assist internal customers with specific requests and reporting via COGNOS, SharePoint, GUI, or AS400 query. Communicate and coordinate with business partners regarding the requirements and the impact of each of the touch points in the item master setup process. Act as primary backup support for other members of the Master Data Team. Ensure timely and accurate creation of and/or updates to SYS21 Bills-of-Material (BOMs). Promote functional efficiency so that non value added work is reduced or eliminated, making it easier to prioritize and complete master data related setup, and so provide estimates as to when a particular master data setup will be completed. Continuously improve the process and documentation related to the master data setup and NDB processes at Sazerac. Ensure SYS21 master data setup is in compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. This may include, but is not limited to TTB, financial accounting, COGNOS reporting, global / trademark requirements. Create and develop a personal development plan with assistance from your manager to improve a skill/competency that will develop personal skills and improve performance. Improve at least one skill each year as agreed with manager. Deliver on performance against outcomes. Continuously improve the quality of processes, products, services and the culture in which we work. Identify career goals and communicate to manager. Develop the identified skills needed to attain the desired career path and work towards career advancement.
