Requirements

Active North Carolina HVAC Contractor License – Class II or Class I (Required)
8+ years of hands-on HVAC experience
Strong knowledge of residential systems (gas, electric, heat pump, mini-split)
EPA 608 Universal Certification
Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills — the One Hour brand depends on it

Nice To Haves

NATE Certification
Experience in the Triangle/Fuquay-Varina market
Leadership or supervisory experience
Familiarity with One Hour systems, processes, or franchise standards
Interest in growing into a management role over time

Responsibilities

Hold and maintain One Hour's NC HVAC Contractor License (or serve as the qualifying license holder)
Install, service, and repair residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with NC State building codes and regulations
Pull permits and coordinate inspections as required
Supervise and mentor junior technicians and apprentices
Uphold the One Hour standard of on-time, professional customer service on every call
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
