Come build your career with BAE Systems. In this role, you will: Provide support to Engineering and Manufacturing in the Material and Component Engineering Laboratory. Perform testing to ensure devices meet specifications (electrical, mechanical and environmental criteria). Perform root cause failure analysis of electronic assemblies and components. Use a variety of electronic test equipment like oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, curve tracer, DVM’s, LCR meter, network analyzers, etc. Use a variety of lab equipment such as low magnification and high magnification microscopes, cross-sectioning equipment, laser decap machine, X-ray, etc. Who you are: You have a strong background in electronics You have a strong desire to learn and develop new skills Enjoy hands on work

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for frequent interaction among engineers, peers and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Familiar with test equipment or lab equipment used for non-destructive and destructive analysis.
  • US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Past experience in failure analysis of electronic assemblies
  • Past experience testing and analyzing electronic components and materials
  • 1+ years of experience in a material evaluation or failure analysis laboratory
  • Capable of obtaining a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance
