Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Stock Clerk (AY1) on a government contract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss, TX Position Summary: The material coordinator performs aspects of technical supply management work with specific retrograde responsibilities. Assignments will include but, not limited to the technical supply functions (i.e., receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, and compiles stock records of items within the warehouse and/or storage yard, inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, remediation packaging, property utilization, etc.) related to depot, local, or other supply activities utilizing the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army). Work also includes the responsibility of coordinating transportation for serviceable, unserviceable and/or retrograde equipment in accordance with local, state, federal laws and Army regulations. This work may require the operation of a forklift up to 15K to load, unload, and or otherwise handle the material. Additionally, this work may require the operation of military equipment (HMMWV style and below) to be loaded or unloaded to or from a truck/trailer. This work may require consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. This position requires a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, and other established guidelines. The material coordinator sorts, weighs incoming and outgoing articles to verify receipt or issuance of items on requisition or invoice, examines stock to verify conformance to specifications, stores or removes articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type or material, fills orders or issues supplies from stock, prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock, and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders. In addition, this work requires remediation packaging of items/equipment to prolong shelf-life and prevent damage of supplies. The material coordinator will prepare items/equipment for shipment out of the facility utilizing Cargo Movement Operations System (CMOS). The material coordinator will be expected to inspect and accept documentation such as DD Form 1149, 1348-1, etc. for outbound cargo offered for shipment completeness, as well as process, verify, nomenclature, hazard class, quantity and cargo offered for outbound transportation. This work consists of compiling reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments, may mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, may distribute stock among productions workers, keeping records of material issued, may adjust or repairs to articles carried in stock, and may cut stock to site to fill order. This work is done in accordance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), GCSS-Army End User Manuel, and system policies, as well as adherence to all safety policies. In addition to compliance with all local/federal laws, policies, and procedures. All documents/files will be maintained in accordance with the Army Record Information Management System and Contract/Corporate requirements. This work is extremely customer service oriented and requires the capability to understand the requisition document flow process of parts as well as the mission of the units/organizations we support.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
