The Material Flow Associate is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials within the production area warehouse. This role involves pulling and staging materials according to schedules, utilizing barcode scanners and carts for efficient transport, and maintaining proper organization of inventory. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, accurately follows standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supports production workflows to meet operational goals. DUTIES Pick materials from the warehouse according to daily schedules and production requirements. Stage materials for production using designated carts and barcode labeling to ensure seamless workflow. Use barcode scanners and printers to track inventory movement and maintain accurate stock levels. Put away materials in designated storage areas after use, ensuring proper organization and accessibility. Follow assigned tasks and priorities given by the Material Flow Area Manager to support production schedules. Perform cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure materials are accounted for and replenished as needed. Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged materials to the Material Flow Area Manager. Assist in receiving shipments and verifying materials against packing lists before storage. Follow all warehouse safety protocols when handling materials, using equipment, and moving through workspaces. Collaborate with production teams to ensure material flow aligns with operational needs and deadlines.
