About The Position

Standard Air is looking for an ambitious, hardworking, detail oriented professional to join our Pittsburgh Team as a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver. Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for receiving and inspecting, staging, bin locating and shipping product in a distribution warehouse that serves customers as well as branch locations. In addition, serve as back-up Delivery Driver, as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and reach for product from ground level to approx. 7ft high utilizing pick ladders as necessary.
Must be able to utilize pick ladders, push carts, hand trucks (dollies) and other pick assisting equipment.
Driver’s License required.
Forklift experience required.
Previous warehouse experience required.
Must be able to utilize hand-held computers and read information from a 3.5" screen.
Must be able to stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift.
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Must have organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Delivery driver experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Unload freight shipments utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE).
Inspect all shipments for damage.
Receive product into stock against open Purchase Orders.
Verify packing lists, raise issues to Procurement Department.
Put away product to stock bins
Pick customer orders and branch transfers with a high degree of accuracy utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Load delivery vehicles and LTL shipments.
Provide accurate paperwork to drivers.
Label shipments in accordance with posted scheme.
Adhere to all inventory control measures.
Clean warehouse work areas before closing each day.
Consolidate and removetrash from building as directed.
Act as a backup delivery driver as needed.
All other tasks as directed.
