Our Drug Product team supports customers in the formulation, production, and packaging of high-quality drug products! Our dedicated colleagues offer a wide range of services, including formulation development, process optimization, scale-up, fill-finish services, packaging, and labeling. Their efforts ensure the efficient production of various drug products, such as sterile injectables and oral dosage forms. You'll be based in Cincinnati, where our team helps turn ideas into life-changing medicines! Our site offers oral solid dose commercial manufacturing, formulation, and development. With an 18,000-square-foot development space, we provide speed and flexibility throughout the product lifecycle. Featuring three Centers of Excellence and advanced capabilities, we bring breakthrough therapies to market daily. The Manufacturing Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing has all materials, commodities, equipment, and reusable containers needed to produce the required batches scheduled daily. You will be responsible for staging materials and managing their flow through the manufacturing space. You will also be a part of maintaining inventory accuracy and performing systematic transactions to accurately reflect all the material movements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No previous work experience required
  • Ability to operate a stand-up forklift and walkie stacker
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to disassemble and reassemble hoppers and totes
  • Basic reading comprehension and math skills necessary to follow complex technical instructions
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manipulate/handle drums weighing up to 110 kg and lift containers weighing up to 40 kg.
  • Job requires wearing personal protective equipment to include white zone gowning requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
  • Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)

Responsibilities

  • Prepares manufacturing areas and equipment for the production of pharmaceutical products to include movement of containers, equipment, product, and cleaning of equipment and tools.
  • Maintains accurate, neat, error-free records such as GMP records and logbooks.
  • Accurately follows production documents, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs)
  • Identifies safety, quality, and efficiency improvements
