About The Position

FORCE America, Inc is looking to fill an opening for a Material Handler. The Material Handler is a part of our Distribution team and is responsible for efficiently pulling parts for orders, shipping and receiving product, assisting in inventory counts, moving stock throughout the system, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • 1 year of work experience.
  • Strong comprehension of verbal and written work expectations.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to meet the expectations of the customer.
  • Detail oriented; motivated to provide the highest level of quality.
  • Familiar with Microsoft office tools including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Ship product per FORCE America defined expectations for carriers.
  • Receive product per FORCE America best practice.
  • Safely operate a forklift.
  • Move throughout the warehouse to pull and pick orders.
  • Climb ladder to store and pull product.
  • Push product on cart throughout warehouse (while picking and/or shipping product)
  • Stock inventory.
  • Utilize inventory count sheet to conduct daily inventory cycle counts.
  • Optimize shelving capacity.
  • Communicate with external providers.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
