About The Position

Position Overview Position Description We are hiring a Material Handler I. The Material Handler I will be responsible for the handling of unrestricted materials and order picking for manufacturing. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years’ operating a stand-up forklift.
1-2 years of inventory control/ cycle count experience.
Ability to perform Arithmetic (e.g., add, subtract, divide and multiply) routinely.
Knowledge of the metric system.
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklift.
Knowledge of cycle count process.
Knowledge of ERP systems and RF scan guns.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Good oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in ISO and FDA regulated businesses, and cGMP environment a plus.

Responsibilities

Comply with all safety and health procedures.
Complete all training assignments as mandated by training schedule.
Participate in daily team huddles.
Safely operate forklift equipment and follow company certification requirements.
Pick process orders and process manufacturing returns into stock locations.
Stock unrestricted materials from Quality.
Perform cycle counts as required.
Participate in department/ business initiatives for continuous improvement.
Maintain warehouse housekeeping and cGMP standards.
Perform material movements both systematically and physically.
Participate in annual physical inventory event as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
