About The Position

Position Overview Position Description We are hiring a Material Handler I. The Material Handler I will be responsible for the handling of unrestricted materials and order picking for manufacturing. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years’ operating a stand-up forklift.
  • 1-2 years of inventory control/ cycle count experience.
  • Ability to perform Arithmetic (e.g., add, subtract, divide and multiply) routinely.
  • Knowledge of the metric system.
  • Operate sit-down and stand-up forklift.
  • Knowledge of cycle count process.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and RF scan guns.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ISO and FDA regulated businesses, and cGMP environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all safety and health procedures.
  • Complete all training assignments as mandated by training schedule.
  • Participate in daily team huddles.
  • Safely operate forklift equipment and follow company certification requirements.
  • Pick process orders and process manufacturing returns into stock locations.
  • Stock unrestricted materials from Quality.
  • Perform cycle counts as required.
  • Participate in department/ business initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping and cGMP standards.
  • Perform material movements both systematically and physically.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory event as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
