About The Position

FORCE America, Inc is looking to fill an opening for a Material Handler. The Material Handler is a part of our Distribution team and is responsible for efficiently pulling parts for orders, shipping and receiving product, assisting in inventory counts, moving stock throughout the system, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
1 year of work experience.
Strong comprehension of verbal and written work expectations.
Able to work independently and within a team environment.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to meet the expectations of the customer.
Detail oriented; motivated to provide the highest level of quality.
Familiar with Microsoft office tools including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and web applications.

Responsibilities

Ship product per FORCE America defined expectations for carriers.
Receive product per FORCE America best practice.
Safely operate a forklift.
Move throughout the warehouse to pull and pick orders.
Climb ladder to store and pull product.
Push product on cart throughout warehouse (while picking and/or shipping product)
Stock inventory.
Utilize inventory count sheet to conduct daily inventory cycle counts.
Optimize shelving capacity.
Communicate with external providers.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.
Other duties as assigned.
