About The Position

Legacy Building Solutions LLC is a leader in the design and construction of steel frame buildings. We are growing and looking for good people to join our team. This position works Monday- Thursday 6AM-4:30PM with occasional overtime on Fridays when necessary. If you are a self-starter and motivated to be part of a great team this position might be for you.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Needs to be mechanically inclined and with experience with using hand tools
Positive attitude and team player
Effective communication skills and ability to take direction
Ability for cross training in other areas of the plant.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Responsibilities

Loading/unloading of materials
Steel processing
Welding; GMAC, steel and aluminum
Assists in the preparation of materials to be shipped to construction sites
Conveys materials and items from receiving or production area to storage or other designated areas
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code
Forklift operation safely and responsibly
Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment
Operate power equipment, including power tools
Perform other duties as necessary
