About The Position

If you love keeping things organized, moving, and mission-ready, this role is for you. As a Material Handler at Centrus Energy, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who keeps our operations running smoothly—making sure the right materials arrive at the right place, at the right time, and with the right documentation. From shipping and receiving to inventory control and secure storage, you’ll play a vital role in supporting maintenance, operations, and compliance in a highly regulated, high-impact environment. What You Will Do: You’ll manage the flow of materials across the site by receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and shipping both classified and unclassified items. You’ll maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts and physical inventories, operate forklifts and material-handling equipment, and ensure materials are packaged, labeled, documented, and stored in accordance with Centrus, DOE, and NRC requirements. Along the way, you’ll help optimize stocking levels, maintain chain-of-custody documentation, keep the storeroom safe and organized, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, security, and compliance teams to keep everything moving efficiently and securely.
