Summary: Responsible for maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock. Recording location of inventory. Preparing finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product and documents. Responsibilities & Duties: Unload and load material from vehicles. Verify materials received against packing list and purchase order number. Examines material received, verifies part numbers, and checks against quality standards. Receives incoming inventory records on computer system. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers. Transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to designated areas. Fill sales orders for internal and external customers per specific instructions. Stacks or assembles material into bundles and band together. Removes samples of material and labels with identifying information. Collaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups with product issues. Maintain assembly areas throughout the warehouse; ensure neat and orderly storage of material. Follow and comply with all safety regulations and work rules and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
