The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass the following: Manage the safe and efficient movement of materials, components, and finished heavy equipment products throughout the facility Pick and kit components for production, ensuring the assembly and machining teams have exactly what they need to stay on schedule Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, to stage large-scale components for manufacturing Ensure inventory accuracy by completing and maintaining precise movement paperwork and using basic computer systems for tracking Support production logistics by loading/unloading materials and running local company errands using a company vehicle Maintain a 5S-compliant workspace, taking pride in the cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing and staging areas

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED is required
  • A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are mandatory
  • A basic understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Strong Organizational Skills: The ability to manage kitting and stocking tasks with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • A Reliable and Team-Focused Attitude: This company values "boomerangs" and long-tenured staff; they are looking for someone who wants to stay and grow
  • Being a US citizen or Green Card holder

Nice To Haves

  • prior forklift or overhead crane experience is a major plus (certification training is available)
