Materials and Processes Engineering Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated and talented Materials and Processes Engineering Manager to manage materials and process engineers supporting various defense programs, primarily C-17, CCTS (Commercial Crew Transportation System), SLS (Space Launch Systems), ORCA, and other government contracts. The team includes engineers specializing in chemical processes, metallurgy, composites and bonding, electrical materials and processes, and non-destructive evaluation. Team is split between Long Beach and Huntington Beach with the manager operating primarily out of Long Beach. This position also includes oversight of composite and non-destructive labs, both located in Huntington Beach. Our team includes two technical fellows and one associate technical fellow recognized across the company as experts in metallic materials and welding technology, composite materials, and aerospace coatings and other non-metallic materials. With our variety of work, you won’t be bored! This position is onsite. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform most work onsite at the listed location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future. There is some flexibility to work from home on an as-needed basis. This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
