About The Position

We are looking for another dedicated person to join us. We have an immediate opening for a full time Materials Development Engineer at our headquarters in Santa Maria, CA. The Materials Development Engineer is responsible for the technical oversight, specifications, and approval of raw materials used for manufacturing final products. This role develops and maintains raw material specifications, creates and manages container drawings and documentations, and administers the qualification and approval of new raw materials. The Materials Development Engineer is part of the design team and works cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, R&D, and suppliers to ensure materials meet technical, quality, and regulatory requirements. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Packaging, or related field
• Experience with raw material specifications, engineering documentation, or material qualification
• Experience with solid modeling software

Nice To Haves

• Completed an upper-level educational course in microbiology
• Experience with SolidWorks and/or OnShape
