About The Position

Materials Distribution Technician is responsible for performing storeroom functions and delivers clean linen and collects soiled linens, processes mail, as well as delivering supplies to Health System departments. Department: Materials Management Hours: Part-Time, 24 hours a week required Shifts may include the following: First Shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM, 6:30 AM - 3 PM, 7:30 AM - 4 PM, 8:30 AM - 5 PM Second Shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM Weekend shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM Required: High School Diploma pay: based on experience, starting at $16.14/hour When you come to work for Sarah Bush Lincoln or Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care, you have our commitment to help make this the best work experience of your life. Requirements

• High School (Required)
• Driver's License - State of Illinois

Responsibilities

• Completes daily reports on material handled, both manually and electronically.
• Delivers clean linen and picks up soiled linen.
• Performs all required storeroom functions, which includes filling orders, putting away supplies, labeling supplies and general straightening of supplies.
• Replenishes par level carts/cabinets in departments.
• Sorts incomng and outgoing mail.
• Works with department representative to update supply and linen carts to maintain appropriate par levels and to add or delete supplies and linens as changes occur.
• Works with Inventory Data Specialist to assure understanding of addition or changes to storeroom supplies.
• Works with Inventory Data Specialist to supply linen number counts and assure understanding of addition or changes to storeroom supplies.
• Works with Inventory Data Specialist to supply linen number counts for Accounting.
