About The Position

Support Precision Coils objectives by striving to continually meet or exceed company on-time shipping goals by providing timely distribution of materials/parts to the various manufacturing areas. Ensure that inventory accuracy goals are met and maintained. Support all plant operations by ensuring materials are received and accurately stored/distributed as needed.

Requirements

Must be certified and proficient on a sit-down and standup lift
Lift 50lbs at a 10% frequency level
Work independently with minimal instructions
Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in receiving/stockroom/inventory control is preferred
SAP knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

Unload/Receive/Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
Replenish inventory and ensure the stock levels are kept at appropriate levels at various locations within the facility.
Label parts appropriately and utilize FIFO inventory management
Coordinate with materials team, management, and stockroom as required
Document and escalate any OS&D to Materials Supervisor or Buyer
Ability to identify parts, count parts, and document counts in performing cycle count activities as requested
Record/Report scrap from the production area and prepare it for shipment to recycle
Maintain KanBan inventory system throughout the facility
Maintain 5S standards within the stockroom
Assist with month end cycle counts
