Responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping materials to support production and customer needs. Maintains inventory accuracy, prepares kits for assembly, replenishes production lines, processes material requests, and coordinates shipping documentation and daily pickups.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma​ or equivalent specific experience.
  • Minimum of ​1-2 years​ experience in material handling.
  • Basic experience with forklift operation.
  • Able to read and interpret written instructions to include Bills of Material. Knowledge of plant layout including locations of finished products and raw materials.
  • Knowledgeable on paperwork flow for shipping and receiving documents.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process materials using computer systems, work orders, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders; check material type, quantity, and weight, and report discrepancies or damage.
  • Assign proper storage locations to maximize space utilization and maintain organized inventory.
  • Perform pre-assembly and prepare kits to support production operations.
  • Track materials throughout the production process by scanning, recording, and entering work orders.
  • Prepare and stage finished goods for shipment and coordinate daily pickup schedules.
  • Conduct cycle counts, support inventory accuracy, operate material handling equipment and delivery vehicles, and follow company safety policies and procedures.
